WELCOME TO VILLA I GRIFONI, TODI

Todi is located in the province of Perugia (region of Umbria) in central Italy. It is a gracious hilltop city of antique origin, from whose slopes one can see much of the middle valley of the Tiber River flowing below.

Todi offers terrific views and a laid-back lifestyle. The people are incredibly nice, and the wine and food are fantastic. It has all the beauty of Chianti, but without the crowds, and it feels a lot more authentic.

A scenic 12-minute drive from the Todi city centre, lies Villa I Grifoni. Perched on a hilltop, I Grifoni offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the surrounding valleys, with beautiful Todi in the near distance. With its spectacular south-facing garden and olive grove and large outdoor pool, I Grifoni is a true Umbrian gem.

The Villa

The villa itself is a 1950’s Umbrian country house, with much of its original features still in place, while at the same time being equipped with all modern amenities.

It has a large lounge with open fire, a dining room that can seat up to 14 people, a movie room, and a lavishly equipped kitchen. Excellent WIFI connectivity is available throughout the house and garden.

The villa has 6 sizeable bedrooms: 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 bedroom with double sofa-bed, each with an en-suite bathroom.

The villa is surrounded by a lush enclosed garden, with a private swimming pool and ample opportunity for outside dining and lounging. It possesses a large outdoor dining area, a yoga platform, an original wood oven with BBQ (for fresh pizzas and breads) and a ping-pong table. You never have to leave the villa! Except, perhaps, for the popular truffle hunting excursions…
